Smokin’ Mike is the man behind the BBQ specials at Wild Annies restaurant in McConnellsburg, PA. But that’s not where Mike’s story begins – Born in Georgia, Mike grew up on a farm like many residents in Fulton County. After graduating, he moved around the country while cutting meat for work. After settling in Texas for a couple of years Mike (and a couple of his buddies) decided to build a smoker out of an upright water tank and a boat.
That same smoker is what Smokin’ Mike uses to make all of his BBQ. Mike has decades of experience smoking brisket, chicken, pork, sausage, and any other special meats.
To add onto his extensive BBQ experience, Mike has also been cutting meat since the early 1990s. A skill that helps him make the best BBQ in PA!
Mike enjoys introducing traditional Texas BBQ to residents in Fulton County, PA and the surrounding areas.
